  1. Review - A Bootable USB

    0.9.5.471 (Aug 31, 2010)

TO those saying this isnt safe
    http://www.softpedia.com...ry/A-Bootable-USB.shtml

softpedia never has posted a file as safe that hasnt been in my experiance(15+years) so yes this is safe.

and yes 4 engine can be wrong, I uploaded my own packed file(made by myself) and got 7 engines saying it was a virus, it WAS NOT, it was a simple tool to edit files for a videogame(so you could use any items on any ship during the sp game)

honestly, dont blindly trust even sites like virustotal, and also do not trust the likes of avg, they have such a high false positive rate that anything named "keygen" for example is considered a virus.....even if its a file you renamed keygen :P

  3. Review - Opera (32-bit) for Windows

    10.50 (Mar 2, 2010)

http://www.enra.nl/ still crashes this build and crashes builds tested back into the 9.x range.

Still my primary browser, but bugs like this being ignored after having been reported months ago being in a "gold" build really arent something i consider acceptable, sorry Opera, gotta give you less then 5 stars this time, maby you will fix this bug b4 the next snapshot build comes out.

Im running this build, and it may have some querks but its beta, thats expected, and they normally fix anything major by the next build :)

10.50's current version is for me, rock solid, fast and dosnt require 50+mb worth of extensions to do what i want it to do.

  8. Comment - Opera Next clears clutter from the browser UI

    10.50 Build 3275 Beta (Jun 24, 2011 - 1:49 PM)

the reason alot of projects are removing hardware acceleration from their apps is that in its current state, its buggy and dosnt work properly on alot of systems, infact with some systems(amd/ati/nvidia/intel) it can cause the whole system to lagg/sall/stutter because of flaws in the driver or implementation or most likely both.

google around, lots of people endup disabling IE acceleration because it causes problems globally for windows.

also the average user dosnt got a bloody clue what hardware acceleration is, they care how things look, if they are pretty, easy and simple to figure out, I say this as a guy who deals with average users 5-7 days a week and has for years.
