   Review - RemoveWGA

   First off there is many ways depending on what version of WGA you have, it dose update itself and you wont know that it is unless you research what critical update package its in. My suggestion as i have fought with this many times is to either let you comp run til the 30days to activate runs out then never turn your system off or restart preventing it from ever kicking you out, and stoping you from loging into the system at start up. 90% of these executables that claim to remove wga are nothing more than trojans used to make your comp a hackers clone. Meaning that the hacker now has control of your system though you wouldnt know it, and that he will be using it along side a group of other comps he has effected in order to make a mass attack against a server or who ever, Very Very common attack in large corporations, (often the corp them selves use this to attack other corps). Microsoft dose keep track of your comp but only the hardware, everytime you connect to microsoft server and it asks for validation its looking at your os product key, and the hardware that your system is running on, open the stat->accessories->system tools->system information this is what microsoft sees, if you can hack this file and produce a hardware spec that is reg'd you would bypass this, but thats saying you know what the original specs are for the winXP your reg'n, this file is compaird to the database that microsoft has and if your hardware dosent match the database for that product key then your considered to have a pyrite windows. Now with that said YES i have tested many win os's both pyrite and ligit, pyrite os depending on what you get can be even more risk, but if your a programer and like challenges, or even a security specalist then i highly suggest getting a pyrite and fixing the trojans, and malware thats in the os and attempting to bypass the validation, it is possible i have seen it done and done it myself. If your windows is a ligit copy that you own, (read your user agreement) and you install on say a new comp you bought, wanting to downgrade from vista or win7 to winXP, when you go to activate the winXP microsoft will claim that your os is pyrite because it isnt the same hardware specs as the previous comp you had reg'd with that product key, this is easy to fix when activation 30days and or wga pops up tell it to activate over the phone, look up the phone number online each contry has its own call center for this, read them the huge number string that your windows will provide, in 5mins your now back to running a ligit windows xp.
   I would avoid any easy fix like this first its outdated and there for wont work secondly its not going to stop the 30day deactivation in the end.
   If this is a pain in your a** and you dont want to buy a windows install disc, then there are more options, first obviously recovery though it will tie into the bootsector date and time, which in some cases once restored will again not let you log in, sometimes depending on what you do to your system you will get your os back and be right back at the start with 30day activation again. But the best option is to get linux and or a flavor of linux, its free and if your an advanced comp user this shouldnt scare you to much to switch its like having dos running a windows box, almost. If your a newb to linux flavor os's i suggest a lil research befor switching or you wont know how to install stuff and or how to have access to the data in different parts of your harddrive, its very sticky about user permissions like windows. Linux is a much better os than win for
   1. Less ppl use it so less chance of infection/ malware/ virus ect (though it still happens just not as often)
   2. its free your install disc is old and scratched? no worries download and burn a new one, install and done ;)
   3. its completly open source, meaning that all the software is free and developed with that in mind, ony security specalist for comps loves linux for its power and easy access to all its components. (unlike windows its all manual) so a flaw in the security would be the fault of the user and nothing more.
   
   I tend to use windows for one reason, its the monopoly, best games/tools/software ect. 90% of the worlds servers are running windows, 90% if not more of the worlds comp users are running one form or another of windows. In anything if its the most popular its the most vunerable.
   
   Yes i hear some of those apple tards screaming about "oh Macs dont get infected that often either" this is true but reality of why is that it isnt as popular making less hackers programmers and network tech for apple than windows.
   
   I can only hope this helps anyone who stumbles apon this download again. i know that its a very old download 2006 for half the comments, but i see its still on the popular list and needs to be adressed.
