@cowgaR: Regarding the filtering of file system and registry changes that happen normally (as opposed to those occurring due to the installation of software), do what the TU help file says, and create a snapshot, reboot, and create another snapshot, then tell TU to ignore the changes.

I think it's great, and it works so fine, but I understand that there's work to do before v1.0. I'll keep an eye on it. Very promising!

  4. Comment - HTC admits customers have Nexus One 3G trouble, not yet blaming the phone

    0.2.5 Developer Preview (Jan 12, 2010 - 2:58 AM)

OK, bets on how many Nexus One customers are complaining of no 3G when they are using ATT. The Nexus One doesn't work on ATT 3G, because the frequencies supported are not correct. It WILL work on ATT 2G EDGE for data. Most data traffic on modern phones is going to attempt 3G first, so it wouldn't surprise me if populated areas have as fast or faster 2G EDGE service as 3G. Another thing to note that nobody seems wise to - T-Mobile updated it's 3G networks the same day the Nexus One was announced to 7.2 mbps on HSDPA. Want to bet there's something not right or up to date with the system update? Watch for a software update to the Nexus One that could magically fix 3G service on T-Mobile.

  5. Comment - Nintendo: Make Your Own Wii Games

    0.2.5 Developer Preview (Jun 28, 2007 - 12:21 AM)

i just read this for about the 100th time and it seemed like nintendo was just being lazy: WiiWare, make your own (damn) wii games...

not saying they are lazy, just saying that it was funny how i read it this time...i really do like that while sony is trying to prevent homebrew, nintendo is opening the doors...
