2.1.17687 Alpha (Jan 5, 2010)
If you're concerned about people being able to see what you are downloading with uTorrent, one thing you can use is Peer Block (http://www.peerblock.com/).
I think uTorrent is probably the best torrent only software out there. However, I like Shareaza and Frostwire better because they also allow you to download from other networks.
0.9.2 (r86) (Aug 5, 2009)
I couldn't get Peer Guardian to work for me. It kept crashing. I've been using PeerBlock for several days now with absolutely no problems. Thanks to the person taking up the cause and making this software work!
1.0.4 Beta 1 (Jul 7, 2009)
If you go to the program's site, you'll notice that the beta is free to use until Windows 7 is publicly released (October 11th is, I believe, the official release date) so the 15 day time out is not currently in effect.
Windows 7 Manager doesn't change anything you don't want it to. It has several useful features to help boost Windows 7's performance and to keep it clean.
I like the features, but the graphical user interface needs some work. Additionally, the wallpaper changer isn't really necessary anymore since that feature is now built in to Windows 7. Other than that, I have no complaints.
10.0 Build 1497 Alpha (May 13, 2009)
There's one and only one reason that I use Firefox as opposed to Opera. Add-ons. I don't like the widgets function of Opera and prefer Firefox's way of making the browser extensible. If Opera would change this one thing, I would switch to them in a second.
1.1.1 (Mar 17, 2009)
Wow! What a bunch of haters.
First of all, Songbird is open source, which is reason in and of itself to support this project in my book. If there's something you don't like about it, you can change it. So, instead of complaining about it, make it better.
I like this project. It is not completely there yet. Several features that will make it complete are still being worked on. However, the potential for Songbird is incredible. I love the add-ons. It makes the possibilities for Songbird quite endless. I also like the integration of a web browser. There are several sites I visit that are enhanced by visiting them with Songbird instead of Firefox.
As for the complaints about size, it is smaller than iTunes so I don't know where that comparison comes from. I imagine it will only get smaller as development continues.
I would normally give Songbird a 4 because it isn't feature complete - yet. However, I'm giving it a 5 to offset some of these ridiculously low reviews.
