    Well i have this kind of configuration and it's realy easy to set up.
    First if you have a DSN/Cable modem connected to a NIC, and a network you should have 2 NICs. In this case, just set up the NIC that is connected to the modem as a modem and all should work fine.
    If you are over a network that share a unique modem, there is no way to only monitor data transfered to the modem, sorry.
