  1. Comment - Netscape Launches Netscape 6 Preview Release

    (Apr 5, 2000 - 5:31 PM)

I can not believe that you, "admire in how Microsoft become to be and how they make decent software". By saying this you claim to admire theft, lying, shady deals and forcing a product upon the consumer.

I do not think that Microsoft has made a decent piece of software....ever. Win2k MAY be an exception, but I'm no expert on that.

What I do know is that most of the 'innovations' M$ has come up with were actually ideas stolen from smaller companies or smaller companies bought out entirely by M$.

Ever wonder why Win looks VERY VERY VERY similar to the MacOS? Why don't other guis use look so similar?

I know no one here will think for themselves, and that's a shame.

Saying M$ is the 'greatest' is the same thing as mindlessly following the Linux movement, except the Linux people have something to follow...

  2. Comment - Microsoft Ruling Announced

    (Apr 3, 2000 - 8:53 PM)

It's not that the products aren't better it's that most (if not all) of them were 1) stolen from other companies (M$ did lots of this in the early days, before they were worth 5 or 6 small countries) 2) aquired by using the extreme wealth of M$ to buy any potential competition.

If Microsoft would truly innovate like they claim to there would probably be no trouble at all.

Why did they keep Apple afloat?

If Jobs and his baby went the way of the Dodo where in the world would M$ get all it's ideas?

Besides the whole concept behind windows was raped from the Mac team in the first place.

Bill gates is nothing more than a smart theif, and he's finally been caught.

  3. Comment - Microsoft Accepts 'Common Sense' Restrictions

    (Feb 17, 2000 - 1:04 PM)

I think that it's the LEAST Microsoft should do (release the code). Most of it probably (based on the past) isn't even original code. And it's hard to be successful when any startup who gets on the track to greatness is aquired by the 'Innovators' at Microsoft. Innovate my foot. If a 'real American business success [story]' involves theft and questionable practices since day one (Gates didn't write DOS, he stole it) then the Mafia has been the greatest success of our time!

I wonder what part of OS X we'll see 'innovated' into Windows ME? Hum....

  4. Comment - Dell Likes Win2000 More Than Last Week

    (Feb 16, 2000 - 12:39 PM)

Exactly. When has Microsoft NOT thrown their weight around when it comes to software distrubution. Hell, who knows what they may have threatened Dell with. This very well may have been the only choice he had (as far as sound business decisions are concerned).

  5. Comment - Microsoft Cancels Neptune, Readies 'Whistler'

    (Jan 25, 2000 - 7:38 PM)

People use Microsoft because they are stupid. Or because they have to use it to use the programs they need to work with because...everyone else is stupid and uses it, forcing software developers to make software for it if they want any money. And it's all about money anyway.
