1.03 Beta 1 (Mar 12, 2000)
So... How hard is it to do all that yourself? Control Panel - Internet Options - Connection... Oh look.. Everything you need, and how to do it. Chances are that if you are a large ISP you have an install program already and if you are a small one you do it manually. And supporting multiple accounts? Thats a refer-to-venfor issue.

The GUI version of the SETI client (the screen saver) is much slower than the command line version, but most people will prefer it, as they are running the client because it's COOL... The program does NOT tell you what your motherboard is doing, or what the transistors do (how silly), but the graphs it displays are a 3D representation of the SIGNAL you are working on...

you point me to ZDNet for something that could possibly be anti-microsoft? HAH! If you werent such a dumba**, and an abrasive one at that, you would KNOW the real reasons MS killed the Alpha builds.

So the form letter that came with RC3 which explained MS's official reasons for canning the Alpha build is bogus? Hmmm? Whose the retard now?

Yepp, Pro, Server and Advanced Server.... RC1 and 2... Its good to be a beta tester... Now if I only had a DEC machine to toss it on...
No, Compaq did NOT kill the 2k platform, that was decided uppon by microsoft because Compaq was promoting *nix for the 21264 more than NT. Microsoft in pure crybaby style dumped the project and said they would focus on the EPIC port. Riiiiight, lets ditch a PROVEN architecture for a new one thats how many years late? M$ canned it out of SPITE. Lets hope the Supreme Court breaks up M$ with extreme predijuce and FORCES the source code for NT open. OMG, I would have a heart attack if the would made that much sense!

I was on the Windows 2000 beta program... There was an official Alpha build for 2000 Pro, Server and Advanced all the way up to RC2. Infact I have copies of them on the CDs Microsoft sent me.... And the High Encryption pack.... Oh to have an Alpha to put it on....
