Ashampoo products including this one are excellent. I have several I purchased from them and it certainly (as one mentioned here) is not scam ware. Anyone with any sense in their head can see that. They make good software and it all does as it says it will do. Some of you people who write reviews should get your facts straight or at the very least learn about software as some of the reviews in this place are lower than stupid.

Had no problem at all, I uninstalled java 6 first before installing this as this installation as said below, does NOT uninstall java 6. For those of you who might be having problems, visit this page for for newest java applications, x32 and x64. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp you need this software for all things to work correctly.

11.6 (Jun 15, 2011)
I uninstalled the old, installed the new, error after error, so I cleaned it out, uninstalled it, then reinstalled it and same thing, evenr cleaned out registry etc. This softrware has issues especailly on my machine, windows 7 X64 AMD Phenom II 2.93 ghz processor, 6 gig of ram, ati radeon HD 5450. Windows would not start correctly after installing, said it recoverded over critical error. I uninstalled it complete, including old directories and registry and reinstalled 11.4 and had no problems at all, installed correctly, back to normal. Have no idea what is wrong with 11.6 but in my estimation, someone does not know what they are doing. I have used ati for years and been a computer tech for as many and this is getting to be rather junky.
If you have windows 7 x64 beware....it may or may not do this on your machines. Problem is, the system told me there was a error and critical, but not where, very helpful you know... I think I would stay clear of version 11.6 if you wish to remain sane for any length of time :) In fact I am thinking of staying clear of ATI for the next few versions or go to another graphix card entirely.
I rate that is -1

I have used winamp for years and tried many others. Simply put, winamp is the best for all your audio needs. I have no complaints about it at all, it is a great piece of software that does many things.

I have tried this several times over the years and I could never get used to it. But, I think it is a very good piece of software. No matter what anyone does, someone is not going to like it, I guess it is a matter of taste. As to Apple Land, according to reports they are in the minority and besides not all use apple and are not going too. Apple has its good points as well as PC and both have their bad points. So to set in a forum and complain or put down another system is nothing more than nonsense.

Firefox has become way over rated and their version numbers have become somewhat useless and meaningless. I use Pale Moon now and I like that allot better than I do the Firefox version. I have never had a problem with Pale Moon but I have with FF. While it might be true that FireFox might be one of the most popular that does not make it good. I swear some people would turn apple into a pear if they could, just because they remain faithful to the product they insist others have to also. Use what you wish in my motto, if it works it is ok, if you like it you do not need approval from anyone here. Would I download a beta NO your asking for trouble..

Could not agree with yu more SoundMix and that is why I got rid of mine also. They make Verizon here sound like a saint, beleive me, Verizon is far from a saint and their reception is South Dakota (which is a rural state) is very poor in many areas, very poor indeed and there service is no better than others unless you live near a tower or city.

No, it is not you "slimf" I put this new beta on my computer, tried to work with it for a while, then discovered it had changed allot. I do not like it at all, no status bar etc.. When the firefrox broswer stops working I use now, I will not use it at all, unless they clean it up and put the status bar back. It looked cheap and bad to me. This is nothing more than my opinion, but when you loose good things for the sake of something new, then to me that is not good. Also, too much flim flam about browsers anymore, you would think Jesus returned the way these software makers act. I will not get on their bandwagon any more..

Hello 'psycros" and all, Mozilla has done this before and not too long ago, maybe a year. They have disabled other plugins. As to the Java, it has been causing a problem I find after I searched it out on the search engines and so I assume do to security risks etc. the people of Firefox decided to disable it, which in my estimation is a good thing. No software maker wants his software to be labled junk, so Firefox is doing the best they can I assume.
I know many think they should do more, but that is allot easier said than done. One step to a time and going slow is best, and as they go, they too learn. We all could also learn, that patience is a virtue ........
