  2. Review - NetWorx

    5.0.9 (Jan 21, 2010)

Great replacement for DuMeter, which went from usefull and fast to bloated and slow. Also NetWorx is free, that's how it's done. 5 Stars.

  3. Review - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    1.20 (Jul 8, 2008)

As of now, i have mixed emotions about this program (v1.20). Finding and removing malware like Trojan.Vundo is quite good, if i had to rate just that it would be a 4-5, but when it comes to the "Protection Module", the rating drops to a clear 1, and that's since v1.10 when i started testing it. I did NOT experience a BSOD yet but several error messages that caused the module to crash, and that was only caused due to loading some portable apps i use, and/or messing with the settings a little bit, which is unacceptable. Also the load times of several programs are inappropriate when you are using the protection module. I've read several threats in their forums and the developers keep saying "developing takes time" and such, but after testing 10 new versions with no real improvement, i start losing my faith. For now, not recommended to spend your money on this, unless u have enough of it and don't care. Otherwise, you better stay away from purchasing it, because it's just the same as throwing your cash out of the window, sorry.

  4. Review - TrueCrypt

    6.0a (Jul 8, 2008)

I believe this is the best software on the internet today. TrueCrypt offers features in 1 product for free, what others, for example SecurStar, offer for a total price of 273,73 USD in 2 products! Also it is open source, so it's unlikely that there are any backdoors that could reveal passwords you used for encrypting your personal data. Encrypt your full OS, other HDD's or USB-Sticks etc., make file containers, and now full support of hidden OS since v6.0. If you don't try this one, you should get lost.

  5. Review - Vuze for Windows

    2.4.0.3 Beta 30 (May 21, 2006)

No idea how anyone can stick to that garbage anymore. I just can't add anything bad that wasn't said about it so i just second it. Sure, it's free in the end, but hey, other clients are too. The Azureus crew just messed it up, i strongly suggest to stick to µTorrent.
