5 years and still no NTFS permissions. I wish I could rate this higher but unfortunately my request from 2003 still has yet to come to fruition. Ah well.
3/5 for an otherwise ok attribute manager.
2.9.4.1433 Beta (Oct 22, 2008)
I have to say that this player shows lots of promise. It is very quick at what it does, very light and supports almost every major format right out of the box.
That said, I do have two issues right now with it. One is that the default skin does not have a titlebar or "minimalist" mode which allows you to dock it at the top of the screen with the video window detached (ALA Winamp). The second issue is that when loading any video, it takes 5-6 seconds to load the video and begin playback.
Those issues aside, this appears to be a very solid player.

The best in its class. Daemon tools might support some advanced features, but if all you need is to mount a file, this will do just that with none of the ad-ware.
5/5
By the way, don't respond to philosopher:

5.4.1.0 Beta (Oct 15, 2008)
This is a great combo to my home theater for discs I have ripped using my ripper of choice. It is also conforms well to AnyDVD (Given it's made by the same company). A great addition to my Home Theater PC. 5/5

Still cannot be touched by any application when it comes to removal of DVD or BRD protections. Heck, the latest version even updated a known HD-DVD protection. I still have yet to see a single application which can handle BRD in any fashion that removes protections.
If you have an HTPC, this is a great addon. If you just want to remove protections, it's the best in that category as well. Price aside, this program cannot be touched by any other program in the realm.

And that only proves that people DEVELOPING SITES are visiting the w3schools site in those browsers. That is not a representation of normal browsing as I am sure 90% of users don't care about such sites.

Forced...Right...Someone is holding a gun to your head and saying BUY THIS NOW! Keep trying

Well for those of us who DO NOT have a choice on broadband provider, as I am stuck with comcast, it does suck. The service on most military posts drops out quite often and is quite unreliable. Yes, Dial-up are the only people who have to worry. Good call. I am glad you have a choice, but being in the service doesn't leave me much of a choice.

Actually, it still looks horrible. Its about VCD quality, maybe SVCD with MPEG2 encoding. Yes, I am a subscriber and I can confirm this as I just streamed one to my TV prior to posting this.

Actually, I never bought a cassette, sorry. And yes, I did buy CD's because the quality AND conveinience of a CD far outweighs the burden and cost involved in owning/operating a cassette. Nice try at a comparison however. 2 points for effort
