1.0 Beta (Jul 29, 2010)
"Beta?" Man this thing barely deserves Alpha in my opinion.
If you are going to release something, at least make sure you can visit a couple of websites without crashing or filling the screen with errors.
3.1.9.104 Beta 4 (Jul 8, 2010)
Meh, most of the "must have" features are disabled in the free version. There are many wallpaper switchers around. Pass.
1.1.01 (Jun 27, 2010)
"Panda Cloud Antivirus is truly install and forget. Don't worry about updates, configuration or complicated decisions ever again."
So ... is this one of those updates that I no longer need to worry about?
Then why is there even an announcement or version number?
Build 6/14/10 (Jun 16, 2010)
STILL not a frickin' suite. Bundling together a bunch of standalone programs, regardless of how powerful and valuable they are, does not make them a "suite."
I would expect at least a unified launcher/toolbar or something to justify the term. That said, all these progs are pretty much the best for what they are designed for. Mark Russinovich is a genius.
3.0 Final (Dec 9, 2009)
Excellent. As to Lightning, forget it. The following extension puts your Google calendar on a tab - superior to Lightning! http://clarkbw.net/blog/...dar-in-thunderbird-tabs/
3.0 Final (May 29, 2011 - 4:45 PM)
I have to admit a significant amount of guilty pleasure whenever I read/hear something about an apple comeuppance. It is surely coming. I just wish all the companies who were snubbed by apple (and its users) had the cojones to ignore their problem and let them stew in their own fruit-flavored juices.
I have been telling people for years that apple's perceived "superior security" was actually not that at all. They were just insignificant and unnoticeable to the malware writers until recently. Now that there are enough of them, they have finally become attractive.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.
3.0 Final (May 14, 2011 - 12:53 AM)
Just standing for prolonged periods in one place is known to be bad for the spine and joints in the lower extremities. More junk "science" and ridiculous theories reported as news. Not unusual here.
Absolute crock of you-know-what.
3.0 Final (May 4, 2011 - 2:47 PM)
I would hope they would offer a 10-incher for magazine reading and web, but I am sure it will only be a 7. Still, having been an Amazon Prime member since they started the program, I will probably climb on board when it comes.
Agreed about the preference for an unlocked bootloader, but I would be more interested in honeycomb on it from the start.
3.0 Final (Apr 27, 2011 - 8:30 AM)
Obviously you are not very familiar with current banking practices. Debit cards are protected the exact same as credit cards. You are only liable for the first $500 and you can generally get that back too.
3.0 Final (Apr 19, 2011 - 12:01 AM)
How about respecting the work that went into these tools by crediting the guys at Sourceforge who did it? http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/
That being said - these don't really offer anything I don't already have from ATI or nvidia.
