  1. Review - Aloaha PDF Suite

    2.1.366 Beta (Nov 14, 2006)

PDFCreator doesnt support encrypting documents with smartcard/certificates, not many, if any, free generators do. If youre trying to sell your work and want to control its distribution, ghostscript backended applications arent the way to do it. This application secures my work as easy as inserting a smartcard into my laptop. If you want a cheap and easy way to send a CV to someone, sure PDFCreator or OpenOffice will do the job but if you want a secure method to distribute and control sensitive or important documents, this suite does the job a lot cheaper than Acrobat. Whenever Ive had a problem, its always been fixed within days. Ive even had a patch within just a couple of hours.

  2. Review - FastStone Image Viewer

    2.7 Beta 1 (Jul 25, 2006)

Would give 5 but the batch convert doesnt generate complaint JPG files when set to 100% quality.

  3. Review - Gizmo for Windows

    2.0.0.183 (Jul 11, 2006)

I would rather use this open format softwrae with peiring to other worldwide networks, than a closed and proprietary suite that still contents the "we can install what we want on your machine without informing you to its purpose" - no thanks skype, Im sticking with Gizmo

  4. Review - openSUSE

    10.1 Alpha 1 (Sep 30, 2005)

The only distro that works under Vmware "out of the box" with no hangups at all. I love SuSE and cant wait for the final version but until then, this stays on my machine.

  5. Review - 7-Zip (32-bit)

    4.29 Beta (Sep 29, 2005)

A real nice alternative to WinRAR but until it accepts overwrite "Yes to All" when extracting multiple archives, instead of prompting for each overwrite, it only gets a 4.

if someone is going to put +all in their SPF record, they deserved to have their headers forged

  8. Comment - Virtual PC 2007 Beta Now Available

    4.29 Beta (Oct 13, 2006 - 7:06 AM)

A little better than 2004 but still WAYYYYYYY slower than Vmware GSX Server.

  9. Comment - BSkyB Shuts Video Service After DRM Crack

    4.29 Beta (Sep 14, 2006 - 6:25 AM)

Trying to make a file uncopyable is like trying to make water not wet.

  10. Comment - Samsung Web Site Infecting Visitors

Only problem for people that are too stupid to stop using IE and unpatched OS's
