  1. Review - Internet Explorer Collection

    1.7.0.9 (Mar 7, 2011)

So your suggesting that because it packages 1-5 as well as 6-8 that it's complete junk?

You can pick which versions you want, you know, you don't have to install them all.

Having 7 & 8 side by side is extremely useful.

  2. Review - Internet Explorer Collection

    1.7.0.2 (Sep 8, 2010)

I can't work out if the reviewers below are genuinely idiotic, or have some ulterior motive.

This is excellent for website compatibility testing. Works brilliantly.

  3. Review - SUPER ©

    2009.build.36 (Jun 12, 2009)

Appalling website with the download link requiring you to spend at least 5 minutes looking for it.

Other than that, this program has been useful to me on ocasion and never crashed or let me down, so since I'm rating the program it gets a 5.

The website would score a 0.

  4. Review - Windows Media Components for QuickTime

    2.2.2.7 (Jun 10, 2009)

This is in fact version 2.2.3.7

Works pretty well for me. Slightly stupid that you're supposed to pay to make WMV files though.

  5. Review - REAPER for Windows (x86)

    3.0 (May 26, 2009)

There really aren't words to describe how spectacular this piece of software has become over the last few years.
With version 3 it has really solidified and become strongly worth considering among the expensive alternatives.

  6. Comment - British politician wants Blackberry Messenger shut off during riots

    3.0 (Aug 9, 2011 - 6:09 PM)

Well yeah, of course RIM should be opening up messages that insinuate or arrange violence to the Police. That's sensible. Having a *temporary* curfew of BBMs would also be very handy at the moment, but would by no means be the be all and end all fix, but by no means should they be *forced* to do that; it should be voluntary on their part.

Nice to see a big tech company at least making the right noises.

  7. Comment - Not even Huffington Post or TechCrunch could save AOL, which value plummeted over 25% today

Couldn't happen to a nicer company.

Now if only the bas****s would repeal the DEA...

  9. Comment - Google to alert users of possible malware infection

Why can't you be happy that they've at least done something.
They could've just left everything as it was, you know.

This is a positive step. Be happy about it instead of complaining about something unrelated you miserable git.

  10. Comment - Mac OS X Lion is here, and I don't like it

    3.0 (Jul 21, 2011 - 8:34 AM)

The only thing that really, really bugs me is the wrong-way scrolling.
It isn't a touch screen surface, it shouldn't pretend to be like one.
It makes switching between Windows and Mac practically impossible.
Please don't give me the "but you can turn it off" as we all know in the next release you won't be able to.

Joe: As for scrollbars, seriously? You don't use the scroll wheel on your mouse? To be honest it's making me think you actually don't really use computers all that much after all, which makes me wonder why you're an author here.
