  2. Review - Pidgin for Windows

    0.64 (Jun 1, 2003)

Best decision the authors made to also make a Windows version. I always loved the *nix version and now its on Windows. Gets better each release.

  3. Review - Mozilla for Windows

    1.3 Alpha (Dec 15, 2002)

Program has really come a long long way.

Survived being taken over by AOL, the dot-com crash and many people who object against the browser. Mozilla is a great piece of software donated by professional developers, hobby developers and other people. I give it another year before all the other big bugs are squashed and my this broswer will be a force to be reckoned with. I am not against Microsoft but during the Browser Wars back in 97-98 browsers were released monthly and technlogy was leaped due to competition... I'm glad its coming back!!!

  5. Review - VNC Free Edition

  6. Comment - Microsoft Releases Office 2003 Beta 2 Refresh

    3.3.5 (Jun 21, 2003 - 7:06 PM)

Neowin has links to all the seperate updates on betaplace (so you still need login) and it downloaded 210kb/sec here.

Only changes so far are new icons, Outlook loads 5x faster and Outlook actually enforces the rules when you receive mail instead of manually running them.

  7. Comment - AOL Execs Flush Nullsoft's WASTE

    3.3.5 (Jun 3, 2003 - 8:26 PM)

    Consider the following...

If Microsoft would suddenly post on their website "Anyone who acquired Windows with any license is void and the following license will be instated... You must buy all Microsoft products and all certified products to use this products in order to use Windows"

Of course Microsoft can't do this (and I bet they wish). When users downloaded WASTE, they agreed to the license it provided, there by making it legal. AOL can't go about changing licenses.

  8. Comment - New Windows Automotive, CE Set for Launch

    3.3.5 (Mar 13, 2003 - 11:47 PM)

wtf... do you still use Windows 9x or something because I have never received that error under Windows 2000 or Windows XP. I say get with the times and drop the out of virtual memory act... its outdated by about 3 years now.

  9. Comment - Longhorn Leak Offers Peek at Windows Future

    3.3.5 (Mar 5, 2003 - 2:07 AM)

  10. Comment - Office 2003 Beta 2 Pulled From MSDN

    3.3.5 (Feb 21, 2003 - 9:18 PM)

They got rid of Microsoft Photo Editor... I love Microsoft Photo Editor!!

I believe it was the most under rated tool Office included with its package... did everything for me. Convert to other formats, rotate and it also had low effect tools (like cartoonize ;-))

Sure you can buy Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro... but heck photo editor was a good tool.
