   Tried using K Lite for a week, after using Shark's for a year or so.
   
   After K Lite wouldn't play several things, it is gone and I reinstalled Shark's codec package.

   If you have read any of the past reviews, there is a fix for what you claim is malware. It's just the Bing bar.
   
   Go to his forums and he tells you how to fix it so that the Bing bar won't install now or ever.
   
   It's a small price to pay, reading a forum, for this great job he does.
   
   My only question is, why are codec packages updated so often ?

   While the program is real nice, I wish that there was a NON BING INSTALL version.
   
   I have done what Shark has suggested in his forum and BING STILL INSTALLS EACH TIME.

   While I feel that this is the best codec package available, I still have the same issue I mentioned in June.
   
   This once again FORCED me to install the damn BING toolbar.
   
   During the install it says that you an disagree and you don't have to install BING but there was no button or box to disagree.
   
   I gave it a 4 ONLY because of the BING issue.

   Beware if you use Firefox 3.6.4.
   
   This will NO LONGER WORK with the new Firefox.
   
   This always seems to happen hen Firefox puts out a new update, it takes a while for Real to catch up.

   Firefox updated itself.
   
   It never asked, like previous versions did, if I wanted to upgrade.
   
   It did not check to see if my addons were compatible.
   
   Several no longer work.
   
   The addons manager does not appear to work, it just sits there saying Loading.
   
   Very poor in my opinion.

   Amazing how I can tell just by the article's lead line who wrote the story. If it is negative towards MS or positive towards Apple it is a Joe Wilcox piece.
   
   I guess fair and impartial doesn't count with Joe "Oberman" Wilcox.
   
   His act is just getting so old.
