  1. Review - RoboForm

    7.1.7 (Jan 21, 2011)

I don't understand why so many out there are complaining so much about charging for a major upgrade to your software. I have been using Roboform since version 4 and I've always liked it. I've tried going to Lastpass 3 times, but I alway go back to Roboform. Yes I was surprised when they forced me to pay to upgrade to 7, but with the everywhere option. I'm even happier with it now. I still think there are bugs to iron out in 7 (Chrome toolbar for example) but other than that, it works great for me and I actually don't think $9.95 will set me back that far for a password manager that has been one of my meat and potatoes app that I can't do without.
I would give this a 5, but they need to perfect the toolbar in Chrome (on the top without overlay) and then I will be really happy.

  2. Review - AM-DeadLink

    4.0 Beta 1 (Jan 14, 2010)

Hey Antichrist. As posted in his blog and I quote as to being asked why on FF3 support, he says " no, still no plans to hack into foreign databases. Only browsers that save their bookmarks in a readable plain text format are supported."

  3. Review - Skype for Windows

    4.1.0.136 Beta (Jun 30, 2009)

Their website shows that this is release, NOT beta. for build 136.

  4. Review - FileZilla Server

    0.9.31 (Mar 3, 2009)

Hey Reverb, as stated on the filezilla info page, and I quote "Support for SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) is not implemented in Filezilla Server. " The client piece supports SFTP. Hope that clears this up.

  5. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    1.0.154.39 (Dec 17, 2008)

Don't know what kind of issues you guys are having. It works great for me (64bit Vista) really fast, As soon as Roboform works with it, bye bye firefox.

  6. Comment - No surprise: 'Windows 7' will be Windows 7

    1.0.154.39 (Oct 13, 2008 - 8:17 PM)

It is about time!!!!!! Version numbers should be version numbers. Being in IT for 20 years has drove me crazy when they started with Windows 95. I have had so much trouble having to explain that Windows 2000 is NOT Office 2000 etc.... THANK you Microsoft. I hope the rest of the lemmings will follow suit.

  7. Comment - Microsoft to Strike Passwords from URLs in IE

    1.0.154.39 (Jan 29, 2004 - 8:19 PM)

My 2 cents worth....I have to use this browser because so many of the web sites I visit, are only "IE" friendly.
To make my life better I found that Avant's browser is awsome!! and uses IE's engine anyways.
