So 4 Stars
Then I knock off 1 more for the horrible donate thing that takes over 3/4 my clock area with a big black box.
The promise is there. The software is not.

is it really a good idea to show an actual image of pirated files being downloaded? I bet Microsoft would/will take execption to the image showing a download of Visual Studio 2005 Pro from thepiratebay.org
3.3 Beta (Nov 29, 2007)
I give this a one for high cpu usage when transfering. I give this a one because it is $99 for something that should be no more than $19.99
I give this a 1 for the idea that somebody would be willing to pay $99 for software that can be done for about $49.99 in hardware with
"0" services, "0" CPU usage and "0" ram usage.
So let's see.
$49.00 Dedicated hardware based USB sharing
or
$99.00 Software based "think win-usb" USB sharing .
Seems like a no brainer to me.

When there are a few hundred freeware and nearly freeware apps out there, I can't see the need to a: tout your own goods by giving reviews.
b: wonder why someone would actually buy something like this when there is VNC, RDC. PCAnywhere, Goto mypc, all of which are either free, or cheaper.
4.7 Beta (Jul 19, 2007)
I hate giving something a "2" let alone without even having the honor to try it, but in this case I have no choice.

NOT a good way to start off an experience. Now true this may or may not be a false positive, I don't care, either way it will not be going on any machine I own.

I personally love Outlook. It keeps getting better too. I will NEVER buy into this cloud BS nor will I ever steer any friend, client, anyone to the cloud. You guys keep giving google/ms/anyone your life to handle, I'm fine keeping my life my own.
4.7 Beta (Jun 4, 2011 - 4:11 PM)
And that ladies and gents is just another reason I love having 16 gigs of fast DDR3. It's cheap and oh so fast :) Having a 120Gig SSD helps a lot too. I can run 2 VMs each with 4 gigs of ram and not even notice they are running in the background. Firefox can suck all the resources it wants as long as it stays stable and fast
4.7 Beta (May 24, 2011 - 10:23 PM)
@lazurouslong I only wish I could vote twice :)
4.7 Beta (Jul 6, 2010 - 8:03 PM)
Why do I get this weird feeling your Nick is well like saying Microsoft giving you free tools to get devs hooked is like a Trojan Horse? Troy, Trojan Horse get it :P And we ALL know MS is like a crack dealer. Here little boy, take a puff, it's free. Come back tomorrow and do it again it's still going to be free, and bring your freinds! But day 3, go steal 20 dollars out of your moms purse or else you're cut off.
4.7 Beta (May 26, 2010 - 10:30 PM)
I swear I have heard about the death of windows for at least 10 years now. Every couple of years some bafoon who thinks they know better spout off on how this is the last year of windows. Wow. Only thing less likely to happen is this being the year of Linux.
