  1. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    21.0.1180.77 (Aug 14, 2012)

    blablablablabla spyware blablablal evil Google

The first second you are online you are vulnerable to being spied, even your ISP can do it. Drop the tin foil hat talk, it stinks.

Matter of fact: Chrome is an awesome browser, simple and fast as hell. After years of using Firefox I gave in to Chrome and haven't looked back. Once in a while I peek in Firefox and still consider it a solid browser, but the interface, the speed, chrome's sandbox on flash... I know the interface can be modded, speed is me being a bit picky but it is slower than Chrome and one can always say Flash has auto-update nowadays, but Chrome does it by its own.

Once you start using Chrome you give in to its simplicity, to the smoothness of tab movement, to being able to CTRL+Shift+N and opening a new privacy window alongside the normal mode (like Opera) instead of Firefox's stupid "only one mode at a time". Adblock in Chrome is almost on par with Firefox's one... what else is left in Firefox?

It's like the iPhone, why does it sell so well? Not only because of its looks, but because of the ease of use. People want that, that's why these ratings of Chrome here are really statistically meaningless.

  2. Review - Ad Muncher

    4.93 Beta Build 32739 (Jul 14, 2011)

Not supporting HTTP 1.1/Gzip at this point in time is just ridiculous.

I've moved back to ABP on Firefox a long time ago. I'm stuck with filtering on browser only but at least it works top notch.

Check http://betanews.admunche...amp;t=3134&start=45 to see when this was promised.

  7. Comment - Fortune: Gates No Longer Richest Man

    2.4.0.0 (Aug 7, 2007 - 11:59 AM)

"...while Slim says he helps best by creating wealth and jobs through his own companies."

WTF? and Bill Gates doesn't do that too, besides donating?

Another one that will take all his money to the grave..
