  1. Review - Database .NET v4

    5.6.4363 (Dec 13, 2011)

Interesting little app - but I don't see the point in using it. If you're managing SQL databases you can use the tools that come with it...If you're on Oracle then this is junk compaired to TOAD...etc etc etc.
I previous poster said this was a portable app - so I suppose I could imagine a scenerio where this would be handy - but if you're in that situation you should be looking for a new job cause you don't know what yer doing. None-the-less I'll still give it a two cause it does work.

  2. Review - Ad-Aware

    9.0 (Dec 7, 2010)

125MB? This used to be such a nice piece of software - now it's a useless hog. Well not useless cause I guess it *does* actually work - but I'm not gonna install a 125mb woth of anti-ad-ware software!
    Get back to your roots!

  3. Review - CD Messenger (formerly Office Instant Messenger) for Windows

    2.0 Beta (Oct 25, 2010)

Pretty neat - but right now http://www.sonork.com/ seems to have more features plus you get the source code for the client....

  4. Review - AOL Instant Messenger for Windows

    7.4.4.13 Beta 2 (Sep 23, 2010)

Another banner-ad filled pile of junk from AOL. Their user-count has diminished greatly over the years and this is a good example of why. There are simply too many alternatives that don't have the ads and use less system resources.

TomA102210 - You seem to be a fan of AOL products - which is rather surprising. Generally the only people that like AOL are a) people who simply have been with them since the internet started and b) users who don't know enough to realize it's a loaded with worthless crap.
If you insist on using the AIM messenger protocall - why not just something like trillian or pigen - you know -freeware apps that don't have all the freakn banner ads? What on earth would make you think it's a good idea to use this is beyond me.

  5. Review - QIP

    2.0 Build 9040 (Aug 30, 2010)

Seeing how this application is nothing other than a scam to steal people's ICQ#'s perhaps the betanews people would be nice enough to actually remove this program from the site.

    2.0 Build 9040 (Sep 1, 2010 - 5:28 PM)

VinceV - the guys over at xda-developers.com will probably get it running on the HD2's.

  8. Comment - FCC demands to know every detail about Google Voice

    2.0 Build 9040 (Oct 13, 2009 - 9:32 AM)

Again the FCC is about to screw up a good thing. First google wants to give us free city-wide WiFi and the government shuts that down because the phone and cable companies paid off people - and now they're going to shut down the free google voice service. I've about had it with this crap!

  9. Comment - Metamorphosis complete: Skype 4.0 for Windows is released

    I'm not impressed.

  10. Comment - Minnesota Stands Up for Overcharged Customers

    2.0 Build 9040 (Sep 28, 2007 - 12:49 PM)

FINALLY! These dirt-bags have been doing this forever. I hope other states follow and file lawsuits of their own. I don't know if the other carriers have a practice like this but if they do I hope they wake up.
