  1. Review - KDE Software Compilation

    3.0.2 (Jul 4, 2002)

It's decent enough to be used along as you don't use Mandrake's rpms. I can't believe they could mess them up even further. There's a couple fixable bugs like removing the kpersonalizer wizard at the startup. Other than that, it didn't seem any faster, or use less resources than v2.2.2.

  2. Review - Counter-Strike Update Patch

    1.4 (Apr 24, 2002)

I don't care really that it has a clean UI, there's practically nothing on this p2p... still only like 5-10 users and 5 servers. That's Pathetic.

  3. Review - VisualBoy Advance for Linux

    0.9a (Apr 21, 2002)

Excellent, works like it should. Check the Win version too if you run that.

  4. Review - FreeWire

    2.3.1 (Mar 30, 2002)

Even though I'm beginning to love LW, I cannot give this clone a perfect rating. First off they compiled LW and removed spyware and then added their own (optional I know) to make money from something they did Not improve. Hopefully like it said below, that they will do something with the source. Also I had to fight this clone for it to detect JRE 1.4... no problem with the real LW.

  5. Review - LimeWire for Windows

    2.3.0 Beta (Mar 19, 2002)

why use renegade when it's so far behind cleanlimewire? even clw is behind, so compiling limewire yourself is the best bet for a ad/spyware free client. also the clw project had bandwidth problems with their free page provider.
