so stable, and my best till now,, waiting for the new opera 11,,,

  2. Review - Opera (32-bit) for Windows

    11.00 Build 1111 Beta (Nov 23, 2010)

I guess Opera is setting an example for other browsers to match, even my bank works better with Opera than IE,
I am impressed so innovative, the new ideas rocks ,,

Finally Opera can read for me the page,, that is nice,,

I have noticed big CPU usage improvement,
I do not know what is the complain about Yahoo and Gmail, both work fine for me. win 7 and linux

  3. Review - Opera (32-bit) for Windows

    10.70 Build 3483 Beta (Aug 11, 2010)

Simply the best UI of all the browsers,

Honestly, I use the browser and the email client, the rest of features, I am not interested in, as long as it does not hurt the stability of opera, then no harm of keeping it, otherwise , Opera would be nice if they give Opera lite for just the browser and email client.

Just wondering anybody using Unite, ???

  4. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows

    4.0 Beta 3 (Aug 11, 2010)

Nice UI but is not to the level of Opera UI,

Where is the new tab button, Missing in action,, or what,

Plugins container uses so much CPU, keeps my laptop fan working all the time, this is also in version 3

other than most of extensions do not work, it is a step forward ,

I still found opera 10.6 is nice experience, it simply rocking fast.. while others still lagging behind including chrome, IE not even in the picture.

  5. Review - Opera (32-bit) for Windows

    10.70 Build 3451 Beta (Aug 2, 2010)

Been Working with Opera as default browser for quite sometimes,

I think Opera should set a standard for others in user Interface. Simple things mean a lot.

Double click on a word then you get a menu to copy the word or search it, while others you need two steps to do the same thing.

Copy an url, then you got option to paste and go, while others you need to copy then hit enter or go arrow, still two steps.

The email client can now send in HTML format, it became my default email client and I retrieve all my gmail emails through it.

    As for the memory :
Opera, FireFox, Safari they all use large amount of RAM thats no surprise, cost for the speed..

What should be surprising that Microsoft OS 7/vista sucks from 1.5 GB - 3 GB
of RAM while Linux uses only 250MB of RAM on the same hardware. Not to mention boot-up time is 25 seconds in Linux versus 5 min in Vista in my Sony laptop.

There was a time (win 3.1) when Bill gates used to laugh about OS warp saying IBM think it's a mainframe referring to booting time, while OS warp used to run super doing multi-threaded multi-tasking in 8MB with 200mHz booting within 90 seconds,

Bottom line have some blame on OS,

  6. Comment - Opera 10 Final released, bringing back 'turbo' mode

    10.70 Build 3451 Beta (Sep 1, 2009 - 6:14 PM)

I have used most of the browsers, finally I settled on three, mainly
Firfox 3.5 (I am not attached to any plugins)
IE7 (for some banks or online pay, some sites still support IE only, unfortunately )
    Opera 10 ,,

Since many years I was hooked to Opera on and off. Despite that, Opera 10 got really my attention. Not only is the surfing fast, but it has also many other features such as mail client witch is working fine with my gmail account, not to mention, widgets, Speed Dial, good tab control, and many minor things but really I liked such as automatically download certain extensions.

I am quiet pleased of the improvement in rendering most of the sites (until now, I have not crossed one since two month), some banks there were not compatible with FF, surprisingly, worked fine with Opera 10.
