  1. Review - Codec Toolbox RS

    0.6 (Sep 13, 2010)

@Sativarg: The program can detect problems but it cannot fix them, but only because that feature isn't yet implemented.

The read/change merit is for advanced users, for explanation on this it is better to search it on internet.
If you want a simple answer for the "merit" then: when there is more than one codec that handle the same format the one with the higher merit is used.

The log can be viewed directly, the button is made to show it in a more bigger window (for example after you have executed the "actions").

  2. Review - Codec Toolbox RS

    0.5 (Sep 10, 2010)

@CyberDoc999: Select action => Select 32 or 64bit => Insert codec name or guid => Select new merit (if the action is change merit) => Press Run

    What is the difficult thing?

  3. Review - K-Lite Codec Pack Update

    6.3.8 Build 2010-09-07 (Sep 8, 2010)

They released the version 6.3.9 to fix the problem.

  4. Review - K-Lite Mega Codec Pack

    6.1.0 (Jul 10, 2010)

@Epsi: DivX H.264 decoder and CoreAVC both have problems with thumbnail, if you set ffdshow for decoding H.264 you will probably fix the crashes.

  5. Review - K-Lite Codec Pack 64-bit

    3.4.0 (May 3, 2010)

@mherv: You can still use Media Player Classic 32bit when the 64bit version have problems.

  6. Comment - Microsoft: We're Close to Shipping IE7

    3.4.0 (Aug 24, 2006 - 7:41 PM)

extremely well: There are also sites that work fine in Opera and Firefox but fail in IE; there also too many site that work in IE only because they use hacks to fix IE bugs.
