"being modest"????
So they aren't advertising that their main game related product has been filled with bugs that broke even their own software... I don't quite think thats being modest.

Am I the only one that thinks a "device" with 4 wheels, each about 1/4 the size of those, and a platform about the same size could acomplish the same thing for a much much more reasonable pricetag? You wouldn't need all the fancy computer stuff to balance, or not as much at least if the wheel base is still too small. You can still have individual motors for each side to get the "zero turn" effect, heck I have a $30 RC car that does that.
Seems like a lot of research and money to go into a product that could be made much easier and accomplish the same goals much cheaper.

Actually a lot of the innovation in Win2k and their webservers were direct responces to the capabilities of linux and Apache. Linux has already in this maner stimulated improvment in the Microsoft product line, and I hope it continues to in the same way. If we can make important aspects of linux better than windows counterparts then microsoft will have to improve windows in those areas. This is called competition, this is why competition is good. Microsoft thinks competition is good because it gets the government off their backs, but thats not why competition is needed. I use windows and linux on my machine and I hope seriously that Apple creates a better operating system and that linux creates a better operating system. If they do then microsoft has to respond. I would also be willing to buy the apple operating system if they made a version that ran on x86 machines, if it was compatable with software made for windows etc. =)

Hm a stable network oriented operating system with a full office suite (Koffice by the way is capable of reading MS Office 2000 documents for all who need backward compatibility) has no practical uses at all, of course not. =)

Very nice. I like the feature that lets you see who is on that web page and that site, and the homepager is cool if you have a web page. One thing i would like to see is the ability to search for users on the ICQ or AIM networks and not just their own Odigo network. I'm not sure how to add people to my list that are on ICQ or AIM. Mybe i'm missing it or maybe next release.
