You DO NOT get recriutment info sent to you at all. You might get a newsletter, only if you ask for it!
This is a one of the best FPS team-based games ever created, and its free.
Yes, this is a recriuting tool, but it is a passive one. They do not tell you, "Join the army.", but they show you what you have to do to get in, throught the training, and also show you what some Special Forces teams actually go through.
Just wait untill they port the game into the new Unreal engine, it is going to be awesome.
Beta (Oct 15, 2004)
And I quote "By default, Google Desktop Search collects a limited amount of non-personal information from your computer and sends it to Google. This includes summary information, such as the number of searches you do and the time it takes for you to see your results, and application reports we'll use to make the program better. You can opt out of sending this information during the installation process or from the application preferences at any time"
Please read the last sentence.

I also have almost relpaced IE with FireFox.It is a great browser that works really well. I like many features that IE doesnt have, like themes, download manager, etc...
It is impossible to replace IE completely, because some web sites use ActiveX content or other IE only features, that can not be displayed in FireFox.
2005 Beta (Jun 29, 2004)
Did you download 2005? or are you commenting from previous experience?
I have Norton Internet Security 2003 and have had no problems at all.
Norton is not a spyware removal program! It is an antivirus program.
If you are commenting from the 2005 beta, then I respect your oppinion.
Im rating it a 3 because I havent used it yet and I dont want to lower/rise its rating without actually using it.

Downloaded it again, still amazing!
For all of you who dont like the Ctrl + Alt + Del
there is a better way of showing the Task Manager.
Press LeftCtrl + LeftShift + Esc and it will go straight into the Task Manager.(I think this is WinXP only).
