   People shouldn't rate software down because it was the wrong choice for their purpose. To get AV/Spyware protection real-time there MUST be something loaded all the time. Claims re slowing the machine should be verified that this package is the cause. I have NO performance issues on my 10 year old 1Ghz P3 laptop! I have regularly checked out the freeware offerings on this subject and this package is one of the best total solutions around. Too many who don't now what they're talking about in here. It's just a pity the reviewers don't get reviewed so we could all put these comments into perspective. If you really want top av/spyware protection guaranteed then use Linux or similar because Windows is your problem.

   This prog needs to be recategorized - the initial agreement clearly states that it is now shareware.
   Apart from that it is an excellent tidy well written program.
   Pity I don't believe in the BS it deals with but it's fun.
   Personally I will keep an older version which was freeware.

   This is THE one.
   Beautiful by design. All the right features and everything in just the right place.
   After 10 years of trying everything that even sniffed of being a music player I am finally giving up looking and sticking with this.
   At least 6 out of 5.
   (Can't believe it's averaging 4.4 - WAY wrong)

   IF there is a performance hit from this product then it is minimal compared to most(all?) others. One of the nice things is that it's so simple to switch any or all 'providers' on or off via the tray menu which actually regains memory.
   
   Every 6 months or so I 'do the rounds' on AV products testing all I can get my hands on and for the past 8 years I have always come back to this.
   
   Absolutely the best.
