Beta 1.1 (Nov 12, 2010)
Very interesting media player. Crashed when i attempted to add a folder with 9000 songs. Didn't like the idea of adding video's. Not sure what video's it likes. Regardless i use it for my Flac music folder and it works great. Sound is flawless and easy and fun to use. No settings at all to play with aside for the tray right click menu which is almost devoid of options. It needs to more seemlessly open to my 2nd monitor when i open it. I use ultramon and tell it to open to 2nd. it begins to open on 1st and then opens on 2nd. And when it opens on 2nd it forgets the column arrangment i set up last time. It used more memory then i think it should 50-100 mb. Not that it slows my 8 gigs of ram down. They need to add a bit more color to the player. Perhaps user defined color for text or whatever. I will be useing this player alot for flac. It works and sounds wonderful and i love the UI. A little more control would be nice. I like telling things how i want them to work more then they allow for. A nice visualizer would be just wonderful to. Not sure how any media player can live without one. they have a background pack but i have no idea where to put the pics. I tried a few places but it was a no go. They should have mentioned where to put the pics.
All in all i believe this to be a great start. Should they maybe listen and makes things more better i will be sure to use this for years to come. Finally a beta worth downloading.

I tried it, it seems like alot of all talk no action. Plus it doesnt seem to want you to get the full movies, just trailers. It's a bloated mess.

It's just a video player and to be honest mostly for dvd's. It shouldnt cost more then 15 bucks.

Gamers know what Live is. It lets you talk and chat while multiplayer gaming. It's a cool product. That of course gamers find usefull, like me.

Do we really need another browser? This Chrome seems to have no sidebars, which i like. It seems decent yet it doesn't look like anything special.

Facts are facts. Oil is gold, and will be for a very long time. Apple has done great in recent years. However the future is always uncertain. While i believe they will do just fine for years to come. Fact is nobody can be sure what the future will bring. Now Exxon is a different beast altogether. Oil is a huge money maker. While both apple and exxon have similar market cap, net income is a totally different story. Exxon took home over 30 billion last year, compared to apples 6 billion. Oil has very little overhead compared to just about everything else. 50 years from now Exxon will still be a lion. That isn't a given for apple, or anyone else for that matter.

A full OS is much needed on a tablet. While windows 7 may not be right, windows 8 should be perfect. Windows tablets failed b4, but that was due to the lack of a proper UI. Now once people see how much can be done on a windows 8 tablet then maybe ipad might be in trouble. I really don't see apple bringing OSX functions to the ipad. That would make it to much like a macbook, for alot less money.

It's been 12 years for me. My ISP doesn't seem to care.

Cost killed it, as did lack of interest. Considering what it offers it should cost 50 bucks at most. There are plenty of devices you can connect to a tv that provide more content for 100 bucks or less.

Mcdonalds Wifi = Complicated. Apperently it's complicated to make a good burger. Since they can't do that, what faith do we have in there wifi instructions.
