7.1.1 (Dec 25, 2010)
V7 is a glorified GUI update with a few thrown in features. It can save passwords for local Win32 apps but I've found it to be a bit flaky with many apps. Plus it doesn't support 64 bit apps yet. They now built in their sync tool to simplify install for those using RF online. Trouble is that RF online doesn't support multiple factor auth/one time passwords so I'd never use it from a public/3rd party pc. The blackberry app still stinks and doesn't link to online.
Having been a paid Roboform user since 2004, I'm disappointed that Siber decided to ignore their commitment to provide free upgrades. I've exhausted efforts to convince them that they should honor their original sales terms with early purchasers. I'm done and moving up to Lastpass.
5.0.0.0 (Oct 28, 2009)
V5.0.0.0 is great. Some nice features added such as secondary backup destination, animated tray icon, Windows 7 support, command line option, etc.. I really like the flexible backup options and plugins to backup data and custom settings for many popular apps including Outlook, Firefox, IE, etc... Even has a sync tool thats good for basic to mid sync requirements but its not as powerful as Syncback. visit www.kls-soft.com for more details.
Best part is that its relatively small footprint, reliable and runs as a service. I haven't experienced a crash with this app since I began using V4.5 several months back. Worth a look!
2009 (Oct 28, 2009)
Works OK on XP x86. Very poor performance and random job failures on Vista X86, x64, and Win 7 x86. GFI claims they know and are working to fix, but its been a problem since at least July, 2009 when I began testing. Ho hum!
6.1.4 (Feb 3, 2009)
Can somebody tell me why this is necessary when you can use Truecrypt for free?
4.5.0.0 (Dec 2, 2008)
Worth taking a look at. Comparable to Genie Backup in that it backs up profile data from applications such as Outlook, Firefox, etc. Makes it real easy to restore in the event of a system rebuild or upgrade to new computer. Backup and sync tools are very strong and work well. Lots of flexibility. Its not perfect, as it could use a bit of GUI tweaking to make it easier to navigate. Haven't experienced a single issue/crash with V4.6.5.0. Highly recommended.

Been using Offline Update for ages. Not exactly a rollup but it saves tons of downloading.

If you think you are infected try Microsoft's offline System Sweeper to clean it for you. http://connect.microsoft.com/systemsweeper

I'll believe it when I see it. And by live I hope they mean in a real city with realistic coverage and handsets available to purchase.

AT&T is planning to impose limits as well. Last I heard they want to set 150GB. See here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-10082615-93.html
Verizon has been quiet thus far.

McAfee, isn't that funny? They owned PGP for a couple years and nearly killed it off due to poor management. I wouldn't trust McAfee with my shredded trash! Probably better off with a standard disk and Truecrypt.
