    The best editor keep getting better.

    Nuff said.

  2. Review - Pismo File Mount Audit Package

    Build 046 (Aug 10, 2008)

    Nice idea. But support rar format is a MUST. Support some image formats like mdf, bin, ccd... Otherwise its pretty useless.

  3. Review - Wine

    1.1.2 (Jul 26, 2008)

    Wine isn't the future. The future is virtualization.

  4. Review - OpenOffice.org for Windows

    3.0.0 Beta 2 RC1 (Jul 5, 2008)

    Microsoft Office's wannabe. Everything OpenOffice does is trying to copy Microsoft Office feature.
    3 star (normal software, no good, no bad) but -1 for being slow.

  5. Review - Kaspersky Internet Security

    8.0.0.420 Beta (Jun 22, 2008)

    Nice AV.

    I do not turn realtime protection on. There is no way virus can run if it cannot alter my system setting (inject to system file, make it run at startup etc...). UAC in Windows Vista can prevent it.

    I just use Kaspersky to scan some program that I downloaded from some source that I don't trust 100%.

  6. Comment - Mozilla designer suggests Windows 'browser ballot' is preferential to Apple

    8.0.0.420 Beta (Oct 17, 2009 - 8:38 AM)

    EU: "Microsoft, just give up your s***."
    Microsoft: *swt* "...here. It's your."
    ...
    Other browsers: "I want the biggest piece." "No, its mine."

  7. Comment - No clear decision on Microsoft .NET Micro Framework's new business status

    8.0.0.420 Beta (May 11, 2009 - 4:33 AM)

    Proprietary or not. Who cares? The job market of .NET is big. People making money. That's all. Don't be emo.

    Quote:
    Java language suggests that checked exceptions should be preferred in any case where an exception conceivably might be caught. This suggestion is encouraged by both the language design (in that the compiler forces you to list in the method signature all checked exceptions that might be thrown) and in early writings on style and usage. Several prominent writers have started to come to the position that unchecked exceptions may have more of a place in good Java class design than previously thought.

  8. Comment - No clear decision on Microsoft .NET Micro Framework's new business status

    8.0.0.420 Beta (May 9, 2009 - 11:16 PM)

    J2EE is slightly better than .NET. Otherwise .NET better than Java.

    .NET:

    •Closures;
    •Runtime generics;
    •Generics of primitive types (benchmarks of this sorting a list of a million ints vs a million Integer objects have revealed a factor of 3 improvement);
    •Delegates;
    •Events;
    •LINQ;
    •Anonymous types
    •Extension methods;
    •First-class properties;
    •Operator overloading;
    •Expression trees;
    •Using blocks;
    •No checked exceptions.
    •Decimal type;
    •Dynamic type.
    •WPF...

    At first .NET copy Java. Now Java copy .NET.

    Alot of Java projects was ported to .NET. Bussiness moving from Java to .NET. I guess they're all stupid but fatty.

  9. Comment - Microsoft denies the severity of a Media Player exploit

    8.0.0.420 Beta (Dec 31, 2008 - 2:13 AM)

    A bug that make Windows Media Player crash. That's all.

  10. Comment - Apple releases iTunes 8 update to fix Vista blue screen of death

    8.0.0.420 Beta (Sep 12, 2008 - 12:57 AM)

    Its driver. If driver has problem. Every OS will be crash. Drivers problem just like hardware problem. Its not fault of any OS.
