   Review - VMware Workstation

   6.0 Build 36983 Beta (Dec 27, 2006)

   Just got one bad thing to say against this release, it runs in Debug mode and Debug cannot be disabled or bypassed like in older version, this simply means it will run slower the the final release.
   
   In a positive note it installed and is running fine in Windows Vista 32bit.
   
   My Vista host is running in an AMD Athlon 1800+ with 1GB of ram and it seems running at an acceptable speed (I did disable logging to compensate for the Debug mode and to speed things up).

   Review - SpeeDefrag

   I can only recommend one utility to defrag an hard drive, individual folders or individual files, that is the defrag tool found at http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Contig.html (now owned by microsoft) as this is the fastest and is free, now as the tool is a cmd line utility you can also get a GUI enhancement for the tool, called Power Defragmenter from the following location http://www.excessive-software.eu.tt/

   Review - PDF reDirect

   2.0.14 (Feb 25, 2006)

   Easy, simple and freeware.
   
   Download the setup from this site just below 6MB, while my Word document was still open, install it, them send the document to the printer, the print options open, I selected the pdf printer driver and clicked the print button, this sends the document straight to the application (PDF redirect app) and from here I could select where to save the pdf file and what quality I needed the document to be, for example if i needed to optimize the document for web viewing, and even if I wanted to add watermarks to it, etc, etc... easy and simple.
   
   The output also works just fine foxit reader
