Nearly 3,000,000 downloads and only 555 ratings! Step up here people. This is possibly the best freeware app, period. Works as advertised, fast, light and ever advancing in capability. No bloat, all meat, no filler. The hot dog of software.

I have used this app for quite some time. It does what is it supposed to. It is very good for getting rare and hard to find files. The search function is in need of beefing up as it is a bit anemic when searching servers. Kad is great but works better when you run this app for a long period. I use it quite regularly for large files, such as archives and long form movies.
The hew tweaks such as individual file selection and keyword rearranging are very welcome. I like this app as it does not use too much CPU or RAM, even when doing saving of files. The time consuming nature of transfers is something that could be worked on.

As advertised, it will let you run multiple screen savers in a timed or randomly chosen way. Works well. Freeware, price is right. Does what it says and nothing else. No virus here, must be a glitch in Trend Micro. I have 15 savers and it detected all aand allows me to choose which ones are included. The interface for adding window titles to the condition list is a bit spartan and for the average user, a bit old school in that there is no clickety thingy. You have to type in the name of the window.

This is a rather good app. It is a distinctly different take on photo management from most of the others I have seen. To attempt to describe it is an odd thought as it is distinctly its own thing. Try it and you'll see. Well done.

Simple to use directory based freeware audio player. Very light on resources used. While not my audio app of choice(Foobar 2000), it has a permanent place as on my systems. When you include plugins, such as can be found here ( http://www.mpex.net/foru...8699dd7507e4ce958c873f9 ) most audio files can be played. While it lacks in the looks, it does what it does very well.

Been using this stuff for years. I download about quarterly or as needed for new builds or re-installs. It really does save bandwidth.

Patent trolls like Rambus, SCO and now Apple never win in the public's mind only the courts. The reality altering field that has allowed Apple to make slaves of their fanbois will ultimately lose the war if MacJobs Mob continues with this type of legal activity.

Used McAfee in the 90's, had performance and detection issues, quit using after 2 complete disks lost to boot viruses.
Symantec gave nothing but grief until I used it recently when it seemed to be much better visa vie performance which was its bugaboo since Norton sold out.
CA was a reasonably light weight solution for a desktop in the early 00's but they began asking for more and more money and detection seemed to miss too much.
I used AVG, both free and paid for about 5 years, right around the time they began adding too much bloat with link checking, firewall and etc. Performance was the issue as these add ons bogged down too much.
I currently use Avast as it seems to be a reasonable solution that tends to show a number of false positives higher than I would like but seems to keep my machines clean. I have also used Avira recently but had local networking issues.
