  1. Comment - Will you buy MacBook Air?

    (Oct 23, 2010 - 4:00 PM)

No I would not purchase a MacBook Air.

My main reasoning is that I am a student and cannot afford it...lol.

But really, I prefer my computers to be power houses. I'm not saying the specs on the MacBook Air are not decent, but when it comes down to it, it's not going to game or perform well when encoding video and whatnot. If I were given the opportunity to try one out without the $1k price tag, I would gladly accept the offer.

  2. Comment - In wake of BP oil spill, Dept. of Energy encourages early adoption of electric cars

I like your use of high quality sources like Wikipedia...the user edited source site.

  3. Comment - In wake of BP oil spill, Dept. of Energy encourages early adoption of electric cars

    (Jun 18, 2010 - 2:21 PM)

Most of the comments below are about getting the same gas mileage as the more efficient gas powered vehicles on the road today. However, the thing that the Dept. of Energy is missing is the fact that "Where does Electricity come from?" It also comes from the well know fossil fuel called Coal. Some electricity is from Wind generators and Hydropower plants, and some from Nuclear power plants but about 90% of the United States energy is from Coal. Coal is mined in a neat and clean method called Strip Mining which leaves a rather bad scar on the land surface. Until Nuclear, Wind, Hydro, and Solar power options are more widely used the damage done to the environment will be no less by using electricity over gas.

Yes, I know this doesn’t directly relate to the BP oil leak, but it has to do with the use of more electricity which would lead to burning more coal.

  4. Comment - Microsoft surprises with a smaller, sleeker, redesigned Xbox 360

    (Jun 14, 2010 - 4:33 PM)

Yes it may look nicer and have built in wifi, but what things did they take away? Like on the new PS3's they no longer have touch sensitive buttons on the console, they now have actual buttons you have to press. Also, the PS3 seems to be less compatible with older games every release they come out with. I will stay with my 360 Elite. Plus, wired is better than wifi any day.

  5. Comment - 'Point fraud:' Pennsylvania man sues Microsoft for Xbox Live games' failure to load

    (Jan 29, 2010 - 2:19 PM)

My 360 recently did the 3 Red lights thing and Microsoft fixed it for me and gave me a free month of xbox live. In the mean time, while my console was being repaired, I purchased the new MW2 edition and was able to re-download all my purchased content free (it took awhile since I had over 300 things purchased) but I got it done. I was also able to put my old hard drive on my new console and transfer all my game saves to a memory card.
