   uhm...as i recall they never said "everyone" would be invited to the whistler beta...they said that SOME testers were ...if you werent, then im sure that MS had its reasons - no more room, saw no reason to add you and/or others -- whistler will be here soon enuf...if you dont test it..just consider it a recovery period from *trying* to make ME decent...we all know *that* had to be one hell of a trying situation...

   I've sent numerous emails to microsoft also; usually, what are the chances of getting in?? :| I would REALLY like to beta test this os, ive tested many many software apps, but never an entire os, and im sure id enjoy it...

   the only reason i say this is because i *think* they did that with win98, and i know they have done it with Photodraw, and i think maybe even office...i dunno...

   Will there be any kind of Technology Guarantee thing where MS will give you a copy of WinME if you recently bought Win98SE? Just wondering, cuz i just bought a new copy...id hate to have to go out and buy ME too...
