This just in: Safari 5 won't run on 10.4.
So ? Why would they (or any other company) support the older OS ?
I think it's a good move - it makes less problems and a better product. People can stick with XP or Vista for as long as they want, but they shouldn't expect to get all of the latest and greatest. Some programs/games will require a better CPU, a better GPU or a more modren OS. It's not life or death - one can still use XP/Vista without IE10... It's not like the OS will be less good.

You're posting a lot about the Israeli/Palestinians conflict;
Have any of you ever actually been to Israel for a long period of while, or lived there ?

I never saw the phone, so I can't comment on buying or not - and frankly, no one can, as it's not even out yet...
However, I do like what I read about it, and will check it out once it's there.
I didn't like the iPhone, so if it turns out to be the same - I'll skip it.
I like good products.
For my PC needs, Microsoft has the best solutions by far. Will they have these too for my phone needs ? I'll check that when it's out.

Sorry Joe, I don't think you're in idiot, but I do find your obsession with MS a bit strange. Wouldn't you rather write positive things about other things ? Why do you keep reverting to write about MS, as you clearly don't like their products ?
I've yet to see on-line someone who kills the upcoming WP7 platform such as yourself...
It's like you really like them, but afraid to admit it - so you go and bash them out :)

Most of the problems starts when a "average joe" user installs a third party software/driver.
If "Vista Joe" will use a vista installation like the "OSX Joe", e.g. running just the bundled software and not updating system files (drivers) - he won't have any issues, or very little - just like OSX joe's has.
but what would be the fun in that ? Any Windows user I know of, wishes to expend his system with more 3rd party software and updated drivers - and for the unexperienced onces, it MAY brake a few things. Windows itself isn't broken/harder to learn/complicated.
