People like melkor disgust me! The United States is a capitalist country. We shouldn't be so picky about what's free, and what costs money. Software developers do work just like everyone else, and thus they deserve money. You use Winamp, right? You like Winamp, right? Then quit complaining. If you don't like the program, then cite that as your reason for a poor rating. It's really childish of people to expect software (music, etc.) to be free.
And now to my rating. Winamp5 is pretty sweet for its current stage of development. WMP9 is currently my favorite media player, but it doesn't hurt to have competition. Winamp5 will probably redeem itself over Winamp3, which is crap.

Trillian is way ahead of AOL IM. I tried to switch to AOL IM and MSN Messenger, but both clients suck compared to Trillian. These two companies will need to dramatically improve their IM clients to convince me to switch back.

I'm selecting the neutral rating in order to correct myself. It still deserves a 5, but I meant to say I'm switching from (G)VIM for Windows/Linux to jEdit.

Netscape's a decent browser now, and I prefer it over Mozilla. IE is easily my favorite.

I feel better knowing all smartphones will be charged the extra $10, because I have a 4G smartphone and most of the time I don't get 4G coverage. I consider the overall value of Sprint's everything plans to be high compared to Verizon and AT&T.

My understanding is it will be very different. With Android, the web browser is one of many locally-installed applications, and with Chrome OS, the web browser is the main locally-installed application.

100MB of free data per month per user? Yeah, I would easily exceed that each and every day, and would therefore be better off with WiFi only.

I disagree. The selection has much room for improvement, but that can be fixed over time.

I need Hulu to support Android.
