   Review - VMware Workstation

   Where does it say "freeware" ? It does say "shareware" which means you have to pay for it after a trial period, maybe you're confusing the two terms...
   
   I tried an early V2 beta version and it worked great ! RH6.0 installed in under 10 minutes, if yours took 2 hours then you've got some prob with your PC, it's not the VMware prog that's the prob...
