  1. Review - Napster

    3.1.1.4 (Jun 9, 2005)

Lots of trolls on this site. Napster is a great service and the application isn't bad. If iTunes is the best, which I don't agree with, Napster is definitely second.

  2. Review - BeeNut

    2.014 Beta (May 21, 2005)

The License Agreement on the site contains the following:
    3. Fees. BeeNut doesn't charge any fees at the moment.
I don't know if the site was changed or if it's still in the EULA when installing the software. Nobody in their right mind will spend $200 on an IM client! It looks like a good app and I was willing to try it, but not if there is some sort of trickery going on. This isn't the way to make a good impression with a new piece of software. If you read the site, it certainly seems like this software will eventually be paid software, if this already hasn't happened.

  3. Review - CD Art Display

    Alpha 4 (Mar 2, 2005)

I like this app a lot. It crashes a lot when I'm doing things in the options dialog, but that's expected for an alpha. I like that the development is steady and useful new features keep being added. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to drag and drop an image onto the Winamp CD Case app and have it automatically save the image to a designated folder and assign this image to the current song. Other than that keep up the good work.

  4. Comment - MSN Messenger Most Used IM Client

    Alpha 4 (Apr 11, 2006 - 10:56 PM)

MSN is just as bloated as AIM, just not with the adware. MSN, AIM, Yahoo!, and all the other default IM clients sucks. That's why you use Miranda, or Trillian, etc.

Wow. You're sad. Do you get paid for anti-Microsoft campaigning?

    Alpha 4 (Apr 10, 2006 - 9:51 PM)

So Microsoft is just talking about creating a new application and the Apple and Linux trolls are already claiming it sucks and will use too much resources...that's not typical at all (complete sarcasm there)!

I was talking about the protocol which was obvious to everybody else...

Does anybody really use Talk as their main IM client? Not many people have GMail accounts yet and Talk lacks features and doesn't support AIM or MSN. It's just too limited right now. I wish, and hope, that Talk does work with AIM one day. I will use it as long as Google doesn't fill it with ads. Like it or not, AOL has the lock on IM clients with AIM. Just think of how many people out there have AIM accounts.
