1. Comment - Ooma previews a 'free-for-life' VoIP device for the home

   I have had Ooma since April...and it is great. I was a prestige customer, (no annual fee for the premier services-free for life if you got in in the first 6 months). I, however, paid $400 for the equipment. But, I was paying $30 per month for my old land line and about $10 per month for calling. This will be free phone after Feb. 28, 2009. Most already have the router..so to amortize it over any period doesn't make since unless you went out and bought a router for this purpose. The basic features are just the common stuff, call waiting, caller-id ETC. The advance features are 2 lines, (on the same phone #), email/text message when message is left, (with voice file attached), instant call forwarding to other number, (my cell rings as my home phone does-I can answer anywhere).
