The software uses a naive and numerically unstable version of the thermodynamic formula. It would be better to compute two closely spaced values of the temperature difference and interpolate. The equation has an analytical continuation over the interval where the logarithm is undefined.
Other than that, it does what it's supposed to

If you need ideas for future versions, how about a "run when Windows starts" option?

"ls" and "mem" quits the program?! Windows users shouldn't be using ls but if you make the prompt take on unix qualities, some are going to forget and type in unix commands. Mem is a perfectly valid DOS/windows command.

I have no idea how this one performs compared to the last. I'm installing it anyways as it's my only IM client. I write to note that I got the custom install option when I chose the install update found in the "help" tab. Of course, I deselect all the spy garbage.

Why in the hell is there a CAPTCHA window in this thing? Norton stopped being good when it released Windows versions. It really was good stuff in DOS.

"Who can afford to do professional work for nothing? What hobbyist can put 3-man years into programming, finding all bugs, documenting his product and distribute for free?"
Linux kernel, anyone?
Bill Gates found a niche for his expensive software in business - which strives to reduce uncertainty and needs someone to yell at when something breaks.
Once upon a time you had to pound gold leaf onto lambskin to make illustrated books, or chisel into stone tablets, in order that your content gets distributed. Now any moron with a Dell can spew into the blogosphere. Of course content is cheap! Only authors, artists, scientists, and engineers make any real content. Everyone else just throws it around. Google is no different.
If content creators(Intellectual property owner is too generous.) want a paywall, let them put up an index page with some goodies and then a big button to pay for the rest. Google will find the page and then it's up to the *users* to decide whether they want to go further. Google has no other blame or responsibility here. Or do like indie bands have figured out; give the music away and then sell concerts and merchandise.
NOTHING is inherently valuable if no one wants to pay for it.

The grass in the communal pasture just got a little shorter.

So, when they advertize a data plan with a default search provider, the advertizing copy can go like, "Bada boom, Bada Bing!"
Someone should just sit down and list all the popular compound phrases and then name a new phone after the first part of that phrase.

I was unemployed during the Fall of 1983. For fun I wandered into a computer store and saw the Lisa. Having nothing else to do I began playing with it. The store employees didn't mind, especially when people gathered around while I was busy figuring out the drawing application. It was fascinating drawing the marqee box with an inscribed circle or oval moving inside. Then applying the plaid texture.
I feel guilty that I don't even fire up MS Draw, which can now do far more. We get spoiled so easily.

Regardless of who dropped the ball, "cloud" anything is a bad idea. What is a cloud? It's evaporated water that partially condensed in the sky. A cloud can completely dissipate or rain out.
