   Excellent freeware add on.
   It is not spyware and it is based on user ratings (it is not a crawler, in other words) and several Trusted Sources in order to fight even "non techical" security (eg: social engeneering)
   Some people do not even bother to read WOT F.A.Q and WOT wiki, evidently;)

   One of the worst software I ever tried: it modifies your IE search engine, It installs "software informer", it can mess up your system.
   
   Terrible, unfortunately there is no 0 star option here

   Review - Microsoft Security Essentials

   Excellent software.
   It cacthed two viruses Avira missed.
   Nice and clean GUI, easy to use, it is light in memory usage even if it needs apparently 1 GB RAM at least (works with 512 MB indeed)
   MSE uses Microsoft Forefont engine and has an excellent antirootkit module.

   Simply the best.
   Now isdrastically improved product load speed on slower machines and Improved malware removal capabilities.
   IP addres blocker protect you by drive by download and will block websited engaged in malware distribution.

   One of the best free antispyware I ever used.
   
   Unfortunately it takes too long to update and italian translation is not very good
