   Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

   OK by now everyone should be familiar that some antispyware programs (Spybot Search & Destroy / Spyware Blaster) are NOT COMPATIBLE with IE8 (RTW). So if your system became very slow, or you get often 100% CPU usage, all you need to do is to switch the immunization off in above mentioned:
   - Spybot Search & Destroy / Immunize / UNDO
   - Spyware Blaster / Disable all protection
   
   And voila everything is back to normal, IE8 (and all other applications) are fast as they were supposed to be!

   Review - BurnAware Free

   For those who stated that Disc Copy is missing, just use separate options:
   1. Make CD Image
   2. Burn ISO image
   3. Finally delete the ISO image when you done burning.
   
   That's the technique that some other programs' disc copy wizards are doing for you when you run them.
   Here you need to run just a bit of brains!

   Review - MusicMatch Jukebox

   10.00.4033 (Feb 8, 2006)

   I have switched back to version 8.20.xx because that was the last version of MMJB that really satisfied me. All the later changes and add ons did not bring anything useful for me. They only took away CDPlayer.ini support, made Media Library less useful and added lot of stuff that is for trading the music over the internet only - which I don't use. Now what do we have: 25MB+ download with 2/3 of the useless "we can do all" stuff that does not have anything to do with the primary function of this, long ago very useful software. Pity!

   Excelent! Must have! The first thing to install on every machine, after I install Windows...
   Version 2.8 is actually dated January 3rd, 2003.
   I've been using it ever since... while BetaNews were sleeping...

   This is THE THING! Absolutely the best. If anyone still uses RadLight (The WORST!) it is now the hightime to switch to this Slovenian masterpiece...

   Yeah right! But you obviously should try a bit harder then just taking a look. How about trying XP for a month or two and then comment on it?
   It really IS the best OS so far. I've been trying it since september 18th.... and it performs better then I expected. BTW I switched off all the skins stuff after first hour of using it.

   "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -nohome

9. Comment - First Windows Me Update Posted

   Yeah right! Actually I also posted this news on saturday night (central european time), but it obviously waited till monday (US time). It is the first update at the WinMe update site and that's all to it - no big deal. Actually fresh install of WinMe requires updating complete IE first, but that doesn't count, does it?

10. Comment - Microsoft Updates Messenger, Offers Free Phone Service

    There is ICQphone included with the latest ICQ 2000 Alpha v.4.50.
    It is supposed to provide PC-PC, PC-PHONE, PHONE-PHONE possibilities.
    Only it doesn't work at all!!!??!

    As for MS Messenger it is true that "it gets everywhere", simple solution move to zip file all dll's and it's own exe file in c:\Program Files\Messenger folder. Unpack them only when you need a messenger...
