  1. Comment - Senate's antitrust head asks for rejection of AT&T, T-Mobile deal

    (Jul 21, 2011 - 11:17 AM)

So what would happen if T-Mobile can't be sold to AT&T. Is the government going to force them to sell to Sprint? Should any government have that kind of power? Why is Sprint worried about this merger? Are they not confident with their own product? Since they are a low cost carrier shouldn't they still be attractive to those people looking for a good deal? Too many people are worried about this merger. Most are with Verizon or Sprint. Verizon itself is not afraid, they see a competition with AT&T still existing. People make it sound like AT&T and Verizon are going to be buddy - buddy and control the prices. yeh right...

Did they violate the warranty by opening it up?

One thing I found very strange, they find this iphone thing laying by itself in a bar. Sure they tried to find the owner, at least they say they did. They were positive they had a prototype in their hands, which would surely belong to Apple. Knowing this they took it and dissected it. Ummm Hello!!! You find something and have to open it up to see what's inside? Did they at least put it back together again before giving it back?

  4. Comment - Mozilla chief: Microsoft ballot screen leaves IE 'uniquely privileged'

    (Aug 21, 2009 - 1:22 PM)

Whose product is Windows anyway? Why shouldn't Microsoft have a more dominant position on the desktop? That's like telling Ford they have to have a Chevy steering wheel in their cars. Nobody's telling Apple they can't put Safari on their dock. Competition is fine and dandy. MS shouldn't have to give away their desktop location. Will Google in their new Chrome OS have a similar selection process? Considering the OS is built on their Web Browser I think not. Stop the wining Mozilla Man... On the screenshot you're listed as number 2. What more do you want?

  5. Comment - Opera CEO von Tetzchner: Microsoft's IE8 'turn-off' is not enough

    (Aug 21, 2009 - 1:13 PM)

So does this mean Apple should no longer include Safari in its OS? If Opera had it so bad it would have gone the route of Netscape. Opera is still around so it has nothing to complain about.
