    Maxthon is a brilliant browser, and is very intuitive and easy to use. I liked it a lot. But I had to switch back to Firefox, due to the importance of a handful of extensions. If only Maxthon could gain a larger plug-in community to match that of Firefox, it could've won the browser wars.

    Foxit PDF Reader is an amazing piece of software, and is very useful when you need to open a PDF file on someone else's PC that doesn't have a PDF Reader installed or has older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, since it doesn't need to be installed.

    The Ad/Banner can be removed, right-click anywhere and uncheck the appropriate option (something "Show Ad Banner").
