Windows 7 and Vista will let you do the same thing as this.
Google is only just trying to control the market and get into your hard drive.
Now they have an app to mess up your IPhone as well.
Stay away from anything Google or Yahoo is my motto. All they want to do is infiltrated your browsing experience and find information to all your habits.
1.2.4.0 (Sep 16, 2009)
Lets see... taking a bare bones browser designed to be bare bones for speed, security, and functionality and adding a bunch of garbage to it for what? to turn it into an ordinary over bloated browser again?
Nada for me.

Now that its listed as Shareware... nags for purchase can be allowed.
I for one don't think it does enough to warrant shareware vs freeware.
But now that it is relisted as a shareware program, I'll give it 3 stars.
I don't use it on my machines anymore because basically I didn't see much of a difference with or without.. even when my duo core or my quad core went 100%.

2 stars for the NAG!
If it is supposed to be free... let it be free of NAGS as well. If you want a PRO version, offer it with something that would make it inviting to buy.
I've used the 64 bit version for a while... and until they started the NAG version, it did fairly well what it was designed to do. But now I have uninstalled it permanently. I wouldn't have even minded paying for it... but not this way. Either let it go for free with a pro version, or don't let it go free at all.

Anything Google makes my computer puke
Along with Yahoo

This will just open doors for more Rush Limbaughs to appear. Radio used to be the only format that the singers and recorders had to get their music out. They should be paying the radio royalties for actually making them money in selling their music.

I'm kind of glad they are dropping it. GeoCities used to be a really great place to have a home brew website. I met many friends there. Once GeoCities sold to Yahoo, it went by the wayside. Yahoo can't manage anything without it being destroyed. I was so hoping that Microsoft would have bought Yahoo outright.

The uptake isn't as slow as it is when you install it on a 64 bit machine... I'll stick with FF.
If they can somehow fix that in the next bug fix, I'll use it again.

IE8 and Vista 64bit do not play nice together. It slows opening any window up, it slows opening up Windows Live Mail, it slows opening up any app. I went back to IE7 and everything else sped back up to normal. I use Firefox as my browser.
