   Some say the upgrade from the original to the 3G wa bigger than the 3G to 3Gs.
   
   Yes, you got faster network access on the 3G (at a higher data plan price) and a GPS.
   
   THe 3Gs gets faster speed (CPU and graphics), probably more application ram (though not confirmed) a better camera and video. Also double the ram at the same $199 price.
   
   I have to say its the added cost of data plans that is a big hurdle for some people. And thats something that is on a monthly basis.
   
   Might be bigger than the difference between $99 and $199 IMO.
