    2.8 (Nov 2, 2010)

This really is a great piece of software. I've used it help me bypass a few things that prehaps shouldn't have been bypassable. Thanks for making this great tool available to everyone.

Good software, though why you'd pay when there's PDF Creator available for free that does a great job too.

  3. Review - Password Maintenance

    2.12 (Mar 1, 2005)

Very clunky interface, needs a lot of work.

There's a much better free, open source password manager available at http://keepass.sf.net

  4. Review - XP Codec Pack

    1.0.2 (Feb 13, 2005)

@GeneralLeoFF: Still having problems with the computer your parents got you for Christmas?

This codec pack is OK, certainly not as feature complete as KLiteCodecPack though, which is my personal choice. KLite offers a number of different downloads depening on your requirements.

I would recommend KLite over this codec pack, but this codec pack does what it claims to with no problems I could see.

  5. Review - Advanced Password Generator

    2.85 (Jan 4, 2005)

This is a pile of junk.

If you wnat something that will do this, keepass is free and it not only will generate passwords for you, it will store them securely for you too.

Don't bother with Advanced Password Generator.

Well I have to disagree. I like, no, love tech. But I love it for the tech aspect of it. Not because I feel attached to it.

Maybe you comment is designed for non-technical people, in which case you could well have a point. But I don't think the tech community feels like this.

    I know I don't!

  7. Comment - Joost re-launches as a Flash-based movie site

    2.85 (Oct 14, 2008 - 5:06 PM)

Poor Joost. They tried so hard and I actually hoped they'd go somewhere. Once they lauched though they seemed a little shocked the world wasn't in awe of the product.

I wish them all the best, I suspect they'll fall down in a few years though.

@PC_Tool: Why's that? You know you're too incompetent to even begin to support such a simple thing?
