7.5 (3663.571.1653) Beta 3 (Apr 19, 2011)
This is beta 2.
The most current beta is found on http://www.agnitum.com/lp/outpost-7-5-beta.php
And the 7.5 betas are very unstable and weird with lots of functions removed (that will return in later betas).
I strongly suggest anyone not familiar with Agnitum products to skip the 7.5 betas altogether.
11.00 Build 1128 Beta (Dec 7, 2010)
Getting there. Quite fast and a good looker.
If they can actually get a properly working adblock extension, I will consider using this. Right now the FF extensions are both more mature, more plentiful and .. well .. actually working.
Tweaking Opera is a confusing and, sometimes, overwhelming experience with pages and popups with options that you have no idea what they're doing. I'm sure it's great for people who spend 15-20 hours reading the manual and consulting the forums.
The donside is that they're trying too hard. Opera's supposed to be "fastest", and now "most versatile" and "cram most features into one browser than any other browser". Yeah, well, Netscape tried and failed.
Opera should remove most useless features and add them as extensions, THEN the fat lady will sing.
Preview 6 (Oct 29, 2010)
Those who give this preview/beta a 1 because it doesn't work on almost 10 year old operating systems have serious issues to resolve.
XP is dead. You're beating a dead horse.
And anyone running 2003 R2 should not test beta browsers on it anyway. It's a server OS ffs - and if you're using it as a workstation OS today you need professional help.
That said .. Best browser from Microsoft ever. Importing adblock definitions work flawlessly if you want to do that. The HTML5 works as promised and it's a fast browser with a lot of stuff in it that people requested.
It's actually usable (even though I'm sticking with Firefox because of the extentions).
2.1.27.5031 (Oct 13, 2010)
And| is typing rubbish. Complete FUD.
Just check with a decent firewall. The only connection GOM make, if you want to, is an auto update which can be switched off.
And the Ask toolbar is optional. Just don't click Next like an idiot when installing.
10.0.23.14 Beta (Jul 25, 2010)
Haven't actually tried it, just wanted to give And| some information.
I certainly found information about it on Kaspersky's site. I wonder what you searched for.
