    6.6.6 (Dec 13, 2010)

    Satanic edition?

    Still very good software.

  2. Review - 7-Zip (32-bit)

    9.09 Beta (Dec 14, 2009)

Just to say this: enough about the GUI!!!!! It's simple and easy to use, plus imho it looks good! This is not a media program or a web browser you'll be looking at for long, its a compression tool! And the best one, the way I see it.

  3. Review - foobar2000

    0.9.6.5 Beta 1 (Apr 10, 2009)

How many times will I have to say this? And I hope a good many will agree: Foobar2k's interface is not ugly, it's simple! Perpahs too simple to suit the taste of some, but I actually like it. Sound quality in F2k is great, and the GUI does its job in a clean, simple way. If simple is ugly my friend, then that's only a matter of taste.

  4. Review - LAME

    3.98.2 (Oct 3, 2008)

Quit badmouthing ogg!!! It's not widely supported because most companies are plain stupid, period. Open source rules! Always will!

As for LAME, lol, it's great! Mp3 has come a long way since its birth, and LAME is an excellent encoder.

  5. Review - 7-Zip (32-bit)

    4.33 Beta (Feb 6, 2006)

7-Zip is NOT ugly! Come on!

Plus, it's light, reliable, fast and very effective. As for icons, 7-Zip gives each archive type its own icon, provided that it is your default archive handler, which makes file identification much better.

    And the 7z format rules.
