  1. Review - AutoHotkey

    1.0.40.06 (Nov 11, 2005)

I agree. For the people that only want to do basic keystrokes and some mouseclicks without any variables, its not the first choice. Especially if you do not have the patience read.

However, it is the most powerfull program out there, plus it is free.

The scripting language is very easy to use for the amount of functions available without losing its flexibility. It does require some reading, but a very basic click-and-type script is done in a few minutes.

The community submits ALOT of usefull scripts. The maker provides quick and good answers to questions, and the fact that you can make executables that run without autohotkey installed makes it my favorite and is in my opinion the best out there.

Good example of a usefull program is niftywindows. http://www.enovatic.org/...ftywindows/introduction/
    completely written in autohotkey.

(what's the use of bashing a very simple and basic goto command?)

  2. Review - Screamer Radio

    0.3.7 (Jun 24, 2005)

Awesome program. Does its job and does it very well.

Does need some extra options tho.
The favorites section doesnt work properly, but the creator says he's working on it so that will be fixed.
Support for hotkeys is something I would LOVE to have, but no doubt that will come to :)

The best i have tried yet, period.
    Keep up the good work!

  3. Review - cFosSpeed

    1.09 Build 936 Beta (Feb 18, 2005)

    i agree with tbaster.

The most important function is the abilety to prioritize programs, so i.e. browsing and online gaming will be sent and received first instead of being 'queued' behind any P2P or whatever other program. I use download managers alot and that always eats away my complete bandwidth when downloading.(3200/768 That used to make my winamp radio stop playing. I've set priorities and it works perfect now. Online gaming and down/uploading fast is now a possibilety without taking away the playability.

I'm very pleased with this program, since it alows you to use the bandwith you've got. However, i think the price is way to high, so I'll give it a 4.

  4. Review - Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (x86)

    1.0 (Jan 13, 2005)

ok, its good. Does what it has to do. But when do they learn to give me bloody visual sign when its working...I just sit there waiting, wundering what its doing... I never read the disclaimer (i probebly should, but i dont care unless i dont trust it). So i select agree, and next and its just loading... I hate that, its one thing i will never get used to when working with microsoft progs. They were always finding new ways to use pictures instead of words, did they give up or something?

o well, all in all. It is something you cannot go without anymore today. And it works. Therefore: a 4 :)

  5. Review - Ventrilo

    2.2.0 (Dec 10, 2004)

I simply love ventrilo. It's easy to use, doesnt have a massive GUI, the sound is just the best around, low bandwidth... What more can I say. I've been using it for over a year now and dont want another ever. Used alot of them but none of them can compete with ventrilo.

Also the server is very easy to setup. Just edit the ini and you're off.

    before i forget: its free!!

    The best period.

  6. Comment - Want a Windows Live Messenger Invite?

    2.2.0 (Jan 12, 2006 - 9:53 AM)

ok, here we go, bring on the invites :)

    1. Make it so that everything is easely moddable (like windows live). So the ability to change everything. possibility to remove, adjust and add all kinds of items in explorer, the desktop, the startmenu, messenger and every other integrated program/feature.

    2. Services and such things are default off, they start when the user needs it, and Vista 'learns' from the user's behavior. So that services that are used alot, get started automaticly on boot. Also the possibility to choose not to do that.

    3. An integrated non-intruding check on the hardware, especially harddisk and memory checks .
