0.8.0.104 Beta (Mar 25, 2001)
Correction to my last posting: The program IS accurately reporting the throughput on my 100Mb connection. In the options section I had "Kbps" selected as opposed to "kbps" for the numeric value. I am used to seeing "kbps" numerics.

Hmm, this version does nothing. It just sits there and says "Initialasing Memory DATA..." and nothing. I can minimize the program, then bring it back, but it does nothing. I have to use Task Manager to kill it.

The more I use this program the more I like it better than DUMeter. Two things I would like to see, the ability to turn of the display of the graph (numeric display only) and the ability to select either kBps or kbps (bytes or bits) for the numeric display. Other than my "wish list" it is shaping up to be a very good program.

After installing SP2 for Win2K I get the following errors when running the HotFix Checker for IIS 5.0 (HFCINST).

My question: Do these patches need to be re-applied or does the HFCINST need to be updated? (most likely)

So far I have applied SP2 on four Win2k machines, two Pro, one server, one Advanced server. All have seen significant improvments in memory useage, network performance, and the GUI is much more responsive.
On the Advanced Server installation, it is the Primary ADC, it runs Exchange 2000, IIS 5.0, and Windows Media services (intranet only on all services) Before SP2 average memory footprint was 380MB. Post SP2 it averages 220MB. That is a huge improvement! Also, the amount of clients that the Windows Media Services could support has increased so I suspect a huge network performance increase was made with SP2.
As for the two Pro installations, the GUI is much more responsive, have seen frame rate increases in Quake, lower memory footprint, and faster GUI overall. SP2 is a go as far as I am concerned.
