  2. Review - µTorrent for Windows

    1.4.2 Beta Build 427 (Feb 22, 2006)

I got some random crashes with this beta too. ITs a nice program and it is getting more usefull as features are added. But the hash checking is terrible. It took about 15 minutes to check a 5 gb file. I dont know if this is typical but it doesnt seem like it should be this slow. BitComet which i used to use, hash checked much faster... i dono it should get better with releases...i hope.

  3. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

    7.0 Beta 2 Preview (Feb 20, 2006)

Well, its not that bad. I agree they could have made it worse. I enjoy the tabbed browsing, the security still seems lax although it is supposed to be way better, but hopefully when full integrated with vista it will be more reliable. Alot of the features dont work well, or at all. But its a beta. It looks nice, it has tabbed browsing. And this cool multi tab viewer which is very mac-esque. Also its kindof unstable, i have had random crashes periodically for no reason. But its a Beta so im cutting it some slack. Its better than IE6 though so i cant complain too much. And no im not one of those people who is too proud, or too stubborn to switch to the more stable firefox, im just too realistic. Firefox is a sub-par browser, with less standard features that IE and still plenty of bugs of its own. Also this release may look like its a ripoff of the firefox browser, but firefox is a complete ripoff of the opera browser...and so the line continues so shutup! IE is just as secure as firefox if you know how to use the internet and how to avoid annoying scripts and hacks through IE. Anyways enjoy this seriotypically incomplete release from M$!

  4. Review - BitComet (32-bit)

    0.61 (Jan 25, 2006)

This is my favorite BT Client. It just works, and works well. However this version DEVOWERS memory like none other 65mb of memory for a torrent client with one download running is a bit extreme. I hope they fix this in the next release...But its still damn good.

  5. Review - Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer

    3.0.123.2 (May 15, 2005)

Still the best of the best. The spellchecker is a lifesaver especially. And who cares if its not for FF because IE is still the superior browser. This is an excellent program and a must Download...yay google!
